Welcome to the Two Magpies Bakeschool
Ever wanted to master the secrets behind your favourite bakes? Join our friendly bakers and learn the artisan skills we use every day. From perfecting pizza dough and mastering delicate macarons to creating the lightest doughnuts, our hands-on workshops are designed to share our passion with you.
Classes are held at our dedicated Bakeschool in Darsham, between Ipswich and Lowestoft. While designed for adults, 16–18-year-olds are welcome when accompanied by a paying adult on the same workshop. You can even buy a class as a gift with our digital gift cards.

All our Bakeschool classes are held in the bakeschool at our Darsham site, London Road, IP17 3QR.
Age requirements: The classes are not be suitable for under 16’s. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also participating in the workshop.

My son and I booked a half day course in November. Really good fun, excellent teaching, lovely support from the teacher There were lots of lovely extra touches and masses of goodies (in addition to what we’d made) to consume during our breaks and some useful bits and pieces to bring home, along with our new skills and lots of new knowledge. Group was good size too, and its a lovely facility. Thank you – we’ll definitely be back.
